Go Into The Story had another successful year. While turning 16 years old, the site generated 2M+ unique visits. Here are the current stats covering the blog’s lifetime:

2024 was another year where I posted articles every single day. In fact, the only time since the blog’s launch in May 2008 in which I did not upload articles on a daily basis was two months in the summer of 2020 when I was recuperating from major shoulder surgery.

People sometimes ask why I do this every day. Here’s one reason. Over the years, I’ve interviewed nearly 300 writers. Perhaps the most common piece of advice they offer to aspiring screenwriters:

Write every day.

And so I blog every day. It’s my way to encourage the Go Into The Story community to get in the habit of putting fingers to keyboard or pen to paper … and write. Today. The next day. The day after that …

We get better at writing by writing. By writing every day, we not only become more productive … we also hone our writing skills.

Which leads me to the focus of this article: Here are 12 of the most popular blog articles from 2024.
